Pros and Cons about working for DOC.
good things
get to see new things everyday, help the wildlife of new zealand and be fit and healthy.
not so good things
being bitten by mosquito, have to work in all types of weather and don't see your friends and family very often.

ReplyDeleteYou've stated some really great reasons both for and against becoming a DOC ranger. I hadn't even considered mosquitoes! I'd hope that DOC would be able to provide it's workers with some strong insect repellent. Do you think you'd like to be a DOC ranger? A friend of mine used to work for DOC and he loved it. He always had such wonderful stories to tell about the places he'd been and things he'd done.
Congratulations on finishing another activity. It's great to see that you're continuing your literacy learning over the summer holidays :)
