The World Wildlife Fund also known
as WWF are protecting the Saimaa
ringed freshwater seals.
They help to keep them safe by
making snowbanks which are used to
keep seal pups warm and stop them
from freezing to death.
These snowbanks have been successful
and the population is slowly growing.
I am a student at South Hornby Primary School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Mōrena Unique,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing another activity! :)
It sounds like the WWF are doing a great job. It's wonderful to hear that all of their hard work is paying off and the number of Saimaa Ringed Seals is growing. Have you seen seals in real life? I used to live in Wellington, and on my walk to work I would often see baby seals sun bathing on the rocks along the waterfront. It was a lovely sight to see first thing in the morning.
Looking forward to reading more posts from you soon. Until then, happy blogging! :)
